French 6: Today, we practiced the numbers from 0 - 20, which can be found on the NUMBER PAGE.  We did a two-sided practice with NUMBERS AND MATH.  Anything not finished is for homework  The answers to the last two math problems are "quatre" and "trois."

Students walked around the room and counted all kinds of things, forwards, backwards, by twos, etc...

HW:  Finish the number worksheet above.  Try walking around and counting random things.

Speaking and writing assessment on Tuesday.

Optional extra credit homework:

Log onto using your new Quizlet ID, and find your class on the left.  If you click on it, you will see some sets in there.  Here's how you get extra credit:

Click on the Numbers from 11-22  After reviewing the numbers any way you like (learn/match/flashcards), click on SPELL.  Make sure your options (bottom left corner)  are set to "Answer with  French."  Play until your progress bar reads 100%.  This will take several rounds.  You can have the program keep saying the number for you by clicking on the microphone icon.  Extra points = +5 this time.  You can do this for +5 extra even if you already got +10!

For students who know 0-20,, feel free to go ahead and try 0-30 or 0-69.  No extra credit, but you'll be getting ahead!

My hero and inspiration,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968

"Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in."    - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” to serve. You don’t have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.”   - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
