NOTE: If you haven't already joined the Quizlet class that will give you access to the review guide this year and vocabulary next year, please, CLICK THIS LINK. and then click "Join Class."

French 6:  Today, students practiced listening comprehension to help prepare for the final exam.  They also practiced commands and question words.

Homework:  Tomorrow I will ask in class:

What is the is the difference between Comment es-tu? and Comment vas-tu?  Here is the answer:

"Comment es-tu?" asks you to describe yourself (What are you like?).  A good answer would be "Je suis grand(e), brun(e), et sympa.

"Comment vas-tu?" means "How are you doing?"   A good answer would be "Bien" or "Mal."

Students should finish anything from class that they didn't complete, including Monday's
WRITING ASSIGNMENT.  There was a question at the bottom that students should have answered on the back using the notes they took on their review guides.

Students should also complete the review guides that were due last week.

*** The following review is available for students online if they have access to a device:

First Semester Review
Second Semester Review
Cultural Practice

Listening Practice

Note:
Leave a comment with a great sentence for an essay about you. It should be something we've learned in class.  I might publish it!

My hero and inspiration,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968

"Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in."    - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” to serve. You don’t have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.”   - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
