French Club: If you signed up for the movie, it is after school tomorrow.

French 6: Today, students practiced writing questions again. Then they started to learn about food and drinks. They can talk about being hungry and thirsty. The vocabulary sheet is HERE.

In case you're wondering, a "croque-monsieur is a hot ham and cheese sandwich with a special white sauce on it. A crepe is a think French pancake.

Homework: Please study the vocabulary from class. Listen to it HERE. You can also listen to how to talk about being hungry and thirsty HERE. Tomorrow, I will have chocolate for students who can correctly pronounce vocabulary without looking.

I thought it was a grilled cheese sandwich.

Me too. I didn't think it was actually called (the American way) croquet-monsieur.

Sounds pretty nice. I wonder what the white sauce is made of.

My hero and inspiration,
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968

"Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in."    - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” to serve. You don’t have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.”   - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
