So...You want some pointers on how to learn vocabulary...You're in the right place!
To begin with.... Here are some things you would be upset about if teachers did them (and rightly so!):
- Required to you learn 25-50 words in one night (...so why would you wait until the night before the test to study?)
- Made you do work without giving you any resources (...so why would you do your warmups without your notes/vocab out?)
- Required you to take a test at home every evening when you haven't fully learned the material (...so why would you do your homework without your notes/vocab out?)
- Made you do busy work, wasted your time, and only gave you five minutes to finish an important assignment (...so why would you rush through homework? Why not use it as studying time? If you rush through it, it's as if you didn't do it).
- Gave the study guide/test questions to some students and not others (so why wouldn't you check the blog each night for hints?)
- Gave you a study guide filled with multiple errors (...So why wouldn't you do your study guides REALLY carefully so you can study from them?)
