French Club: French Club is going to a cafe!!! Bring in your FIELD TRIP FORM BY THIS FRIDAY (we have a meeting)! SPACE IS LIMITED!
French 6: Today, students continued to practice saying what hurts and how they feel. We talked about other people's feelings as well (He is sick, he wants to go home, etc...). We played charades and Pictionary with written reinforcement. The vocabulary is here: HOW TO SAY WHAT HURTS/ SICKNESS. Be sure you have added "My throat hurts (J'ai mal à la gorge)" to your personal note sheet.
HW: Study for tomorrow's quiz. If you didn't finish SPELL for J'ai mal and for "I am sick", you still can do that for 85% of the credit. If you do well on tomorrow's quiz, I will replace last week's formative assessment if you had trouble with it.
Here are some practice questions for the quiz. I HIGHLY recommend trying them.
What's wrong with you? My ears hurt and my shoulder hurts.
I am sick and I am tired.
My throat hurts and I want to stay in bed!
Everything hurts and I don't want to go to school!
What's the matter? Nothing. Everything is going well.
